Fake Poo

A bear and a rabbit are conscripted into the army, and waiting for their medical checkup.

Posted on August 14, 2025 by Joke Poo

The rabbit says to the bear, “listen, I really don't want to go to war. Can you just kick me in the leg, so that when I go in to see the doctor I've got a limp?”

The bear says “sure. But can you do the same for me when you come out? I don't want to fight either.”

The rabbit agrees and the bear kicks him in the leg. It's a good kick— the rabbit only just manages to keep himself from falling over or crying out— and when he goes into the doctor's office he is, indeed, noticeably limping. The doc takes one look at him and says “nope, the army can't use you. Not with that leg” and sends him home.

When the rabbit comes out, he returns the favour and kicks the bear in the leg.

Unfortunately, however, the bear is a bear and the rabbit is a rabbit— the kick doesn't even hurt. The rabbit tries kicking him again, harder. Tries punching him, biting him, even hitting him with one of the waiting room chairs.

By the time the bear gets called in for his check up, the rabbit has spent a good ten or fifteen minutes beating him up all over, and the most he's managed to do is give him a light nosebleed. Sadly, the bear thanks him for doing what he could, and heads in to see the doctor.

The doc takes one look at him and says “nope, the army can't use you.”

The bear, thrilled but surprised says “what? Because I've got a bloody nose?”

And the doc says “no. Because that nurse over there says she just saw you get your ass handed to you by a limping rabbit.”

Joke Poo: The Accountant’s Audit

Two accountants, Mr. Spreadsheet and Mr. Ledger, are awaiting a crucial internal audit that could make or break their careers.

Mr. Spreadsheet nervously says to Mr. Ledger, “Listen, I’m terrified of this audit. If they find all my errors, I’m done for. Could you maybe… discreetly misplace a few documents from my department? Just enough to create some plausible deniability?”

Mr. Ledger, equally apprehensive, replies, “Sure, I can do that. But when you get out, could you do the same for me? My spreadsheets are a mess, I need the time.”

Mr. Spreadsheet agrees. He manages to sneak into Mr. Spreadsheet’s office before the audit and subtly shifts some key invoices into a less visible location. He returns, visibly relieved, and goes in for his audit. The auditor takes one look at the files, shakes his head, and says, “Nope, can’t pass this. Too many discrepancies.” He sends Mr. Spreadsheet back to his desk defeated.

When Mr. Spreadsheet emerges, he begins rummaging through Mr. Ledger’s desk. He tries shuffling invoices, replacing them with others he made, adding subtotals to the wrong columns. He even pours his coffee over a pile of receipts, but can’t seem to make an impact. He then replaces them with completely fake files, nothing is working.

By the time Mr. Ledger gets called in for his audit, Mr. Spreadsheet has spent a good twenty minutes frantically trying to sabotage his colleague’s accounting practices, and the most he’s managed to do is make his desk a little more disorganized. Sadly, Mr. Ledger thanks him for his efforts and heads in to see the auditor.

The auditor takes one look at the files, smiles, and says “Nope, you’re in the clear.”

Mr. Ledger, bewildered, says “What? Because it’s only slightly more disorganized than before?”

And the auditor says, “No. Because Mr. Spreadsheet over there just added 3.5 billion dollars of revenue to your department.”

Alright, let’s analyze this joke and then inject some humor-enhancing additives.

Joke Dissection:

  • Setup: A bear and rabbit facing conscription. They want to avoid war.
  • Premise: They conspire to feign injury to fail their medical exams.
  • Punchline: The rabbit’s attempt to injure the bear is laughably ineffective. The actual reason the bear fails the exam is because he was seen being defeated by the rabbit. This highlights both the bear’s presumed strength and the rabbit’s determination, creating an amusing twist.

Key Elements:

  • Animal Stereotypes: Strong bear vs. weak rabbit.
  • Physical Comedy: The rabbit’s futile attempts at violence.
  • Irony: The bear is disqualified for a reason related to the initial plan, but not the intended reason.
  • Underdog Wins: The rabbit, despite being physically outmatched, indirectly “wins” by proving the bear’s weakness.

Humor Enrichment & New Joke Generation:

Factual Tidbit: Did you know that a bear’s bite force is roughly 1,200 PSI (pounds per square inch)? A rabbit’s bite force is around 70 PSI. That’s a difference of over 1700%. Imagine the rabbit trying to bite the bear… it’s like a housefly trying to dent a steel girder.

New Joke:

A grizzly bear walks into a therapist’s office, looking dejected. “Doc,” he sighs, “I have an existential crisis. Everyone expects me to be this ferocious apex predator, but the truth is, I’m terrified of rabbits.”

The therapist nods sympathetically. “That’s a common anxiety, actually. It’s the mismatch between your perceived role and your inner fears. Tell me, what’s so scary about rabbits?”

The bear shudders. “Have you seen what they do when they’re trying to be intimidating? It’s… it’s like watching a tiny, fluffy nuclear reactor about to melt down. The sheer uselessness of their threats… it’s terrifying!”

Another Angle: Absurdist “Did You Know?”

Did you know? The Geneva Convention actually prohibits the use of “Aggressively Annoying Bunnies” as a form of biological warfare. Apparently, while they can’t inflict physical harm, the psychological damage caused by a continuous barrage of ineffective nibbling and furious thumpings is considered “cruel and unusual punishment.”

Explanation of the New Humor:

  • Therapist Joke: Plays on the expectation of the “mighty bear” and subverts it with a relatable anxiety. The rabbit’s futility becomes the source of the bear’s fear, enhancing the original joke’s element of irony.
  • Geneva Convention Tidbit: This expands upon the idea that the rabbit’s actions are more annoying than harmful. The absurdity lies in the formalization of this ineffectual behavior as a potential weapon. It heightens the humor by implying the rabbit’s ineptitude is a weapon in itself.
